Aftercare

After Your Microblading Procedure
What to expect and what to do!

Day 1-7
What to expect:
- The colour will look quite dark and exact.
- The top layer of skin may scab over and flake away. This can itch.
- You may have some swelling, redness and in very rare cases bruising.
What to do:
- Keep the area dry.
- Don’t pick!
- Apply saline solution twice a day for the first 3 days.
- Apply aftercare balm twice a day.
- Avoid wearing makeup on the treated area.
- Avoid exercise or anything that will cause you to sweat heavily.
- Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds.

Day 7-14
What to expect:
- The colour will fade and may look as though it has disappeared. This is due to exfoliating skin masking the pigment. Don’t panic! This is completely normal.
- Dry itchy skin.
What to do:
- Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, sun exposure and sunbeds.
- Keep applying the aftercare balm for 10-14 days.
- Still don’t pick or scratch!

Day 14-28
What to expect:
- The colour will come back through.
- You may still have some lighter patches.
What to do:
- Keep the skin moisturised.
- Use an SPF if exposed to the sun.
- You may apply makeup to the area if needed but be very gentle when removing.

Retouch
A retouch is required 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment. At this appointment we will re-assess the colour and shape and add the finishing touches to perfect your brows!
